Working procedure
Work items are registered by resolution of the committee and allocated to a working group. A committee draft is circulated for internal comment before the enquiry draft is released to member bodies. Approval requires a two-thirds majority of votes cast, with not more than one quarter of the total votes cast being negative.
Published deliverables enter systematic review not later than three years after publication. The committee resolves to confirm, revise, or withdraw each document; the resulting stage code is recorded in the document header. Stage codes are defined in the stage code table.
