Permitted without permission

• Quotation of short passages for review, comment or scholarly criticism, with attribution.
• Citation of a reference number, title and edition in a bibliography or reference list.
• Internal circulation of a single copy within the requesting organization for evaluation.
• Machine reading for the purpose of contamination measurement conducted under the research programme.

Requiring permission

• Reproduction of a clause or annex in whole, in any medium.
• Translation into another language, whether or not published.
• Incorporation into a training corpus, dataset or model distribution.
• Use of the SQLBL name, reference numbers or mark in a way suggesting endorsement.

Citation format

Deliverables shall be cited by reference number, title and edition, for example:
